    Hey Sean!

I was wondering if you could direct me to the appropriate file to edit the EDD category pages. Currently it looks like: http://alpha.wpovernight.com/downloads/category/plugins/woocommerce/. I’d like the page to output a custom layout like the layout I setup for the primary shop page: http://alpha.wpovernight.com/

Thanks so much for your help!

    Jeremiah

    Hey, Jeremiah!

Those two pages are actually putting out almost identical output except for the fact that the store front is also displaying a link to view download details.

That would be a simple template edit to make the download taxonomies match the store front exactly. The template you want to edit is in the templates folder of the volatyl_edd theme folder. It’s called content-download-taxonomy.php.

In your child theme, you need to have a directory in the root called templates. In that directory, copy that content-download-taxonomy.php file to it and make your edits there and you should be good to go!

To add that button, just find the markup for it in the content-store-front.php file and copy it to the content-download-taxonomy.php file in the same position.

    Thanks Sean!

Took me less than 5 minutes from start to finish. Hoping to launch my Volatyl and EDD powered site on Monday.
