    I’m creating my second child theme (lost my first one…), and for some reason I cannot get the css to work.
    Here is my test css (from the instructions under docs):

    Theme Name: Winooski Theme
    Description: Child theme for the City of Winooski, VT
    Template: volatyl
    body	{ background: orange;

    Here is my php:

    /** functions.php
    * Volatyl Child Theme functions
    // Load Volatyl's functions file immediately!
    require_once( get_template_directory() . '/inc/init-functions.php' );
    /*---- All custom PHP belongs BELOW THIS LINE! ----*/
    // Enqueue front-end child theme scripts and styles
    function child_front_scripts() {
        // Default stylesheet
        wp_enqueue_style('child-style', THEME_STYLESHEET);
    add_action('wp_enqueue_scripts', 'child_front_scripts', 2);

    Do you know what’s going on? I can’t give the web address as I’m developing locally. I have both the framework and the child theme uploaded to WordPress. I’m at a bit of a loss…

    Hi, Alaina! Sorry for the short delay.

    I actually don’t see anything wrong with your current setup. That CSS should work just fine.

    Make sure your browser cache is cleared and I assume you don’t have any caching plugins activated locally, right?

    If browser caching is not the issue, can you zip the child theme up and email it to me at sean [at] sdavismedia [dot] com? I can install it and let you know what I find.

    Hi Sean,

    Thank you for the quick reply! I found my USB with my original work (thank God!), but I will check on the one I was having trouble with and get back to you.
